Editorial Policy

Trust is everything on a site that tells you which credit card to get. This Editorial Policy explains how Reward Radar researches its card comparisons, how we keep them current, and where we draw the line.

How we research card comparisons

Every comparison on Reward Radar starts with the issuer’s own published terms: rewards rates, annual fees, welcome-offer requirements, and redemption rules. We then layer in our own analysis:

  • Realistic point valuations. We value points and miles based on what an average cardholder can actually get for them — not aspirational first-class redemptions most readers will never book.
  • Net-value math. Annual fees are subtracted from estimated yearly rewards based on typical spending patterns, so rankings reflect what a card is truly worth to you.
  • The fine print. Caps, exclusions, rotating categories, and redemption minimums are factored in — a 5% rate that only applies to $500 of spending a quarter is not the same as uncapped 5%.

How we keep content updated

Card offers change constantly. We review our guides and comparisons on a regular schedule and update them when issuers change rates, fees, bonuses, or program rules. Articles show their last-updated date so you can judge freshness for yourself.

No paid placements

Card issuers cannot pay for placement, rankings, or favorable reviews on Reward Radar. Our conclusions come from the math, not from partnerships. If our business model ever includes affiliate links, they will be clearly disclosed and will never influence which cards we recommend.

Corrections

We take accuracy seriously, but mistakes happen — especially when issuers quietly change terms. If you spot an error in any article, email info@bestrewardscards.site with the details. We will verify it against the issuer’s current terms, correct the article promptly, and note significant corrections on the page itself.

What we are not

Reward Radar is an independent advice site, not a bank, lender, or financial advisor. Our content is educational — always confirm current card terms with the issuer before you apply.
